You are viewing a delightful pair of Biedermeier card tables hand crafted from the finest oak with ebonized wood trim. I hope the photos do this stunning pair some justice, they are certainly more impressive in the flesh. True to the Biedermeier aesthetic, they have a lovely understated minimalism to the design which works well in both contemporary and classic interiors.
A tasteful understated addition to any drawing room. Easily converted from wall-standing occasional tables to multi-purpose gaming tables, these pieces are an elegant interpretation of this ubiquitous-yet-useful Georgian furniture form.
The folded table tops are a compact 36” (910mm) by 18” (450mm), veneered in a golden pollard oak veneer, the oak equivalent of burr walnut, and much more understated. They open out to twice that area, revealing a recently re-covered green baize gaming surface.
The tables each stand 31 1/2” (800mm) high, supported by a single pedestal-style base on four feet.
