You are viewing a gorgeous English Regency style round mahogany table with penshell ilay to the table top. Penshell is a type of shell indigenous to the South Pacific islands and as you can see here it is used to gorgeous affect to acheive the inlay work. Each different shape of the shell would have been cut out by hand and then embedded into the main structure of the mahogany, a time consuming process but worth it for the gorgeous affect.

The table has been hand crafted from mahogany and includes intricate hand carved details, particularly the legs with rosettes, scrolls and arabesques carved into the wood. The piece also sits on brass castors so you can move the table around easily.
